Our guide who will hold a post with your names, will get you at the Airport and drive to Marangu door on the slopes of Mt. Kilimanjaro. This is the beginning stage for the short hike to Maranda hut. The drive takes around 1hours from Kilimanjaro International Airport. The drive is on great road with magnificent views of Mt. Meru and Mt Kilimanjaro on clear mornings. After registration at the entrace gate , short journey through the rain forest to partake in the lovely perspectives on the mountain as you climb gradually to Maranda hut. You’ll then climb back to the entryway and drive back to Arusha

In the first part of the day you will be served a warm and pleasant breakfast prior to going on a thrilling game in transit drive to Tarangire National park, with your packed lunch explore one of Tanzania’s ‘secret’ natural life is loaded with huge population of elephants, baobab trees, predators. In the early evening break for picnic lunch at an park at the recreation area partake in your lunch in the bush prior to leaving back to your game drive.

In the evening to your lodge for supper, overnight an relaxation. Then, at that point, get ready for the following large experience on the following day

Today is a different day so we expect a new and more exciting experience. After your early morning breakfast, you will depart from your lodge and drive to the Ngorongoro conservation area for your crater tour.  you will drive across the karatu landscapes and as you move you will enjoy the best view of the escarpments that makes the place more and more interesting. As you arrive at the gates complete with the registration and drive to the Ngorongoro crater. The crater is 600 meters deep and at the base, there is a vast number of floral and fauna that complete the ecosystem of the area. 

In the afternoon drive to your picnic site and enjoy your bush lunch. and after the lunch break continues with the game drive until late afternoon then you will ascend from the crater to the crater rim and drive to your accommodation.

ABOUT NGORONGORO CRATER 

The Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area is a destination of a great experience and a home to more than 30 000  animals present. It is an area of stunningly beautiful scenery and excellent game driving, a unique safari destination in Tanzania.  It is known as one of the eight wonders of the world. The crater is 600 meters deep and the base is 260 square kilometers. Apart from just the crater, Ngorongoro is covered in highlands and other small craters like te olmoti and empakai crater. Ngorongoro is also the place where the discovery of first man’s skull that was discovered by Dr. leaky is located in the Olduvai Gorge and the latest active volcanic mountain the oldonyio lengai. The crater floor is covered with abundant wildlife. the Ngorongoro crater has unique animals like the rare species of the black rhinoceros and the magnificent black manned lion. There are also different birds including the bright pink flamingos crowding the soda lakes. The giraffe is the only animal you cant find on the crater floor this is because they cant descend the crater because of their height.

After your early breakfast, we will pick you from your lodge in the morning and drive to Olduvai Gorge for a visit. In Olduvai gorge, you will learn the history of man. and also about the discovery of the first hi]uman skull by Dr. leaky. Olduvai gorge is located in the Ngorongoro conservation area but it’s away from the crater. Late in the Afternoon d3epart from Olduvai Gorge and drive to Arusha town to prepare for your next experience.

About Olduvai gorge

Olduvai gorge is one of the oldest and the interesting historical sites in Tanzania. this museum carries the oldest history about the discovery of the first man’s skull. The Olduvai Gorge or Oldupai Gorge in Tanzania is one of the most important palaeoanthropological sites in the world; it has proven invaluable in furthering understanding of early human evolution. A steep-sided ravine in the Great Rift Valley that stretches across East Africa, it is about 48 km (30 mi) long and is located in the Arusha Region. The British/Kenyan paleoanthropologist-archeologist team Mary and Louis Leakey established and developed the excavation and research programs at Olduvai Gorge which achieved great advances in human knowledge and world-renowned status.

In the morning, we will pick you from your lodge in Arusha and take you to the Arusha National Park. The park has an unbelievable variety of fauna and flora, which cannot fail to impress. It is a popular destination for day trip visitors who are about to embark from the town of Arusha. Buffaloes, waterbucks, giraffes, warthogs, zebras and baboons can be seen all year round as well as many different bird species. At the Momella Gate, an armed ranger will be waiting for you to accompany you on your walking safari that will give you the chance to experience the wildlife up-close. And while passing through the forest many visitors stop to search for troupes of rare colobus monkeys playing in the canopy. Lunch will be taken at a picnic place and in the afternoon, you will continue your tour in the safari vehicle through the Arusha National Park. After plenty of time allocated for you to observe the wildlife, we will take you back to Arusha.
