- The hirer must present a passport and valid international driving license.
- The vehicle is covered with comprehensive insurance. The insurance will not cover any accident if damages caused by willful negligent or dangerous driving and the hirer will be responsible for all damages to rented car which included the full cost of the vehicle in cases where a vehicle is written of a result of an accident.
- VEHICLE LOSS OR DAMAGE: Tyres, tools, windscreen, side mirrors or any burned vehicle part to the interior of the vehicle, radio /MP4 screen, reversing camera, lights, body parts, engine parts or any other parts related to the vehicle accessories etc, are not covered by insurance and is the full responsibility of the hirer for any loss of any damage to the vehicle, plus actual towing storage impound and other related expenses. If at all the vehicle is driven under your driver’s negligence: you shall be debited for any damage caused to engine/ battery, radiator or cylinder head due to your own negligence.
- IN CASE OF AN ACCIDENT, AND OR DAMAGE OF THE VEHICLE: you must call the police to the scene immediately and notify ADVENTURE KASKAZINI within 24hours, otherwise your contract may be voided. The hirer must get full police reports (final reports). This is actually, according to the law is the basic requirement for any claim from the insurance company. In case of failure to do so, the hirer will be liable to ADVENTURE KASKAZINI and all third parties for all claims and damages. All in all the hirer is liable for the excess amount of the insurance a limit of USD 500 to be paid by hirer.
- INSURANCE does not cover bodily injury (including death) or property damage to the vehicle driver or the driver’s family members related blood, marriage of adoption that resides with the driver or to any other person.
- CAMPING GEARS: All camping gears including rooftop tent, dome tent, powered cooling box (fridge), tables, chairs etc, are not covered by insurance and is the full responsibility of the hirer for any loss or damage to camping items provided.
- FUEL: Authorized Driver (s) who operate the vehicle will pay for or replace all fuel provided by ADVENTURE KASKAZINI by either buying the fuel in the Tank upon returning the vehicle with much fuel as when received (no refunds apply unused fuel of fuel in excess of that initially provided). If the authorized driver (s) does not buy the fuel in the tank at the beginning of the rental and returns the vehicle with less fuel than when received, refueling charge applies determined by the ADVENTURE KASKAZINI and will be charged according to standard rate.
- There are no refunds for vehicles returned earlier than the agreed return date set at the time of rental.
- Vehicle rentals are per calendar day and not per 24hrs.
- As Adventure Kaskazini, we do not handle park entrance fees directly. We will arrange the necessary permits for clients, and guests will make the payment themselves using the official government payment link we provide.
- Any vehicle overdue 24hours will be automatically reported to the police as stolen and hirer hereby waives and claims on the part of ADVENTURE KASKAZINI for the consequences of said report and all any claims for damages or loss resulting there from.
- All fines of traffic violations, as well as any additional on fees is the responsibility of the hirer.
- Hirer without informing us is not allowed to travel outside of Tanzania. If the vehicle is taken out of Tanzania, all charges incurred by ADVENTURE KASKAZINI will be the responsibility of the hirer.
- ADVENTURE KASKAZINI reserves the right to inspect the vehicle during the hire term and can withdraw the contract at any time.
- ADVENTURE KASKAZINI will not be responsible for any the left in the vehicle.
- REPOSSESSION OF THE VEHICLE: The vehicle may be repossessed without notice and at Authorized driver (s) and or any one associated with the operation of the rental vehicle expense, if it is not returned when due, is illegally parked, is used in violation of law of this agreement, or appears abandoned.
- REPAIRS & ALTERATION: Authorized driver (s) and or any associated with the operation of the rental vehicle or other lease part will not permit any repair to the vehicle or the replacement of any part of the vehicle without the prior consent of ADVENTURE KASKAZINI. Authorized driver(s) will not temper with the vehicle Odometer or Speedometer or otherwise alert the vehicle. Authorized driver (s) will pay for all unauthorized repairs and replacement parts, as well as the cost of restoring any unauthorized alterations.
- Changes to this agreement are effective only if in writing and signed or initiated by both ADVENTURE KASKAZINI and hirer.
- Any Authorized driver (s) and or any one associated with the operation of the rental charged with any criminal offence including but not limited to, driving under the influence of any alcoholic beverage or controlled substance, while having the vehicle in their possession, will not hold ADVENTURE KASKAZINI responsible.
- PAYMENTS: All payment should be made in advance as per duration/route before the hirer takes the vehicle, and on extension of rental the hirer should renew/extent the contract. In additional hirer is required to bond the original passport or security deposit of US $ 500 which will be return/refunded back at end of the rental.
- BOOKING CONDITIONS It is only after receiving the confirmation of your deposit payment that we can confirm reservations. Payment of deposit indicates acceptance of ADVENTURE KASKAZINI terms and conditions. For vehicle rentals a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total cost is required. Any additional services, including but not limited to, accommodation, flights and camp sites will require full payment.
Cancellation Policy:
Up to 60 days before departure 25% (Booking Fee) is forfeited
59 – 35 days before departure 50% of the cost is forfeited
34 – 15 days before departure 75% of the cost is forfeited
14 days or less before departure 100% of the cost is forfeited
