Soon, the impressive Great Rift Valley Escarpment will come into view – a 2,000 foot high wall that rises up, improbably steep and incredibly tall, out of the flat plains. Elephants, Buffalos, pythons are seen easily regularly cross your path, unbothered by your benign presence and going about their daily routines. You’ll meander along bush tracks and explore the Tarangire River’s twists and turns, finding elephant drinking and playing in the refreshing waters. Late this afternoon you’ll arrive at your amazing lodge where you can settle in and relax before dinner and your overnight.

After breakfast you will take your way to the Serengeti’s endless plains for early afternoon to sunset game drives in the park. You will make your way around the southern edge of the crater rim, spotting the occasional hyena, elephant or African buffalo along the way. By late morning, you will arrive at the famed Serengeti National Park. The plains seem endless from this vantage point. Stop to enjoy your picnic lunch at Naabi Hill before meandering through the wildlife-rich central Serengeti. Later in the evening at your camp, you will be able to settle into your accommodation before joining other travelers in the dining area for some palate teasers in anticipation of a scrumptious meal this evening. Afterwards, gather round the campfire before heading off to bed. Relax in your comfortable surroundings tonight as you are lulled to sleep by the sounds of the Serengeti plains.

In the morning after done with your breakfast you will drive out to the north Serengeti for full day wildebeest migration game drives in the Northern Serengeti area. Late in afternoon you will make your way back to the camp for dinner and overnight. The Serengeti National Park it is well-known for its yearly migration of over 1.5 million wildebeest and 250,000 zebra and for its several Nile crocodile and honey badger flows south from the northern hills to the southern plains for the short rains every October and November, and then swirl west and north after the long rains in April, May and June. The Wildebeest travel through a multiplicity of parks, reserves and protected areas and through a diversity of habitat, food and water. To maximize your time on the crater floor you will enjoy a special boxed lunch at a scenic picnic spot. Your journey will take you throughout this tremendous landscape that is constantly changing as animals move to and fro in search of pasture, water or east prey. In the afternoon ascend to the rim and drive back to Kilimanjaro airport for your flight back home.
